Welcoming Dr. Eric Baumgartner SFHEA (he/him)
Transnational Education thrives when expertise, vision, and collaboration meet. Dr. Eric Baumgartner embodies all three.
With over two decades of experience across a number of UK universities, including more than 12 years at a branch campus in Japan, Eric has shaped curriculum, portfolio, and research design with care and purpose. A trained teacher of English as a foreign language, he also has a strong record of building and sustaining impactful partnerships (a vital element of TNE operations).
His work is driven by a belief in the power of TNE to advance both home and partner countries, and his scholarship and practice make him a recognised authority on social inclusion, mobility, and inclusive leadership.
We’re delighted to announce Eric as one of our speakers, bringing not only his wealth of UK HE and TNE experience, but also his passion for creating opportunities that cross boundaries and open doors.
