International Staff Teaching in China
This programme prepares international faculty for the specific demands of teaching in Chinese higher education under a Sino-foreign TNE framework. It addresses the deep structural differences between Confucian-heritage pedagogy — rooted in respect for authority, collective harmony, and examination culture — and Western liberal traditions of Socratic enquiry, individual voice, and critical debate.
